Content Renegade is on a mission to rid the internet of terrible content.

We aim to make less noise and more meaning by crafting content strategies for businesses and brands, large and small. We also train and coach people to succeed at using content in business.

Founded by Alex Brooks, who has edited brands like CHOICE and Kidspot, we know there is nothing more powerful than quality content to earn people’s attention and lead them to an outcome or action.

Alex was one of Fairfax’s first bloggers with her Renovation Nation blog and has since earned a Graduate Certificate in Data Science and Innovation. She also holds a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.

Alex edited Australia’s largest parenting website, Kidspot.com.au, before setting up a digital content brand for an Australian political party. A skilled writer, Alex understands the ins and outs of content marketing, copy and digital strategy for business outcomes. She has worked with data, social media, video and user-generated content in both short form and long form.

There’s nothing as powerful as quality content to earn people’s attention and lead them to an outcome or action.

She is skilled in many different forms of content, from infographics to video to whitepapers and long form written documents. Alex has helped hundreds of clients meet their copywriting and content requirements , from car giant Ford, to Energy Australia as well as small and medium-sized businesses.

Visual communication is second nature for this creative director who has worked for some of the biggest brands and magazines in Australia. She has worked on the UI and UX design for creative technology brands and understands how to draw the eye and focus attention to generate a result.
